SkelPy brings fungal network analysis to a graphical interface

Our new paper, “SkelPy: A graphic user interface–based approach for skeletonizing fungal networks,” is published in Applications in Plant Sciences.
The work is led by Melanie Madrigal, with Aaron J. Moseley, Jenna C. Moseley, and Jordan A. Dowell. SkelPy provides a graphical interface for converting images of fungal networks into skeleton representations, supporting the analysis of fungal structure.
The project brings together biological questions and computational methods—an important combination for studying the form and growth of fungi. Congratulations to the team on this publication!
