DowellEvelin and Melanie organize a Spanish-language symposium at LSU
Evelin Reyes and Melanie Madrigal organized a Spanish-language symposium at LSU today, bringing science into a shared space for Spanish-speaking researchers and participants.
The event took place in the LSU Student Union, with a program running for a day of research talks, posters, and conversation Lab members joined to support their colleagues and take part in the day.
We’re proud of Evelin and Melanie for taking on this organizing role and creating an opportunity to share research in Spanish. Scientific communication is an important part of research, and this event highlights the leadership our graduate students bring to the wider university community.
